Triad is pleased to relaunch our J series of shielded audio impedance matching transformers. The parts are manufactured in our California facility, not far from Venice. CA where they were originaly produced, all in strict accordance to the original designs, materials and processes.
Vintage audio recording gear is very popular today, due in some part to the nature of digital recording and the desire to "warm" up the audio signal using vacuum tubes and transformers; as well as the history of the original recording equipment that was used to create, essentially, the American songbook of recorded popular music. Triad transformers were a big part of some of the most important equipment that is still used today in every major recording studio, as well as new recreations of the same vintage circuits used in the booming home recording market.

Description | N/A Triad's A-9J Input Transformer provides the durability and precision required in today's demanding designs. Mu-Metal case construction for magnetic field immunity and 60 to 80 dB Hum reduction. Large step-up turns ratio to couple low-level input signals to the grid of the first amplifier tube or, in a multistage system, to the input element of the first transistor amplifier. Low level High Fidelity with excellent Unwanted Noise reduction. Applications include signal pre-amplification, inter-stage isolation, signal level step up/down, and impedance matching. | N/A Triad's A-10J Input audio transformer provides the durability and precision required in today's demanding designs. Although economy in construction places them in a lower price class, these units approach and closely approximate the performance characteristics of more costly hermetically sealed units. | N/A The flexibility of Triad J Series transformers permits amplifiers to exceed broadcast standards.
